Educational guidance, not medical advice
Suppin helps you organise supplements and understand what you take. It isn't a medical device, a doctor or a pharmacy. It doesn't diagnose or treat anything, doesn't set doses from lab values, and doesn't decide that you need a supplement to correct a deficiency. Amounts follow the product labels. Talk to a doctor or pharmacist before starting, stopping or changing a supplement, especially if you are pregnant, take medication or have a health condition.
The safety rules
Your health answers are checked before anything is suggested. Products that don't suit pregnancy, breastfeeding or trying to conceive are left out, as are combinations that can interact with medicines such as blood thinners, sedatives, thyroid, diabetes, blood-pressure medicine or antidepressants, and products containing an allergen you named or that don't fit your diet. Daily upper limits are checked against everything you take. A nutrient that needs a closer look is never added automatically; the product shows “Review with a professional” instead. If you say you take something that isn't on the list, the rules stay cautious.
AI only with your permission
Two features use AI: the assistant chat and reading the photos and files you scan or send. Before either runs, the “Suppin uses AI” screen lists what would be sent: your answers, your shelf and routine, your chat messages, and the photos or files you add. Nothing is sent until you allow it. If you choose “Not now”, those features stay off and everything else keeps working, including your routine, which is built without AI. You can switch AI off later in Settings → AI features.
What we do and don't do with your data
Suppin shows no ads and doesn't sell your data. Your health information is never used for advertising or to train AI models. Like most apps, it collects usage analytics and crash reports to fix problems; these contain no answers, photos or messages. If you allow tracking when iOS asks, your device's advertising identifier is used only to measure which of our ads brought you; if you don't, it is never read. Files you send in chat are processed and never stored. Our main database is in the United Kingdom, with some processing in the European Union and the United States.
Use it without an account, and delete it any time
You can start without an account: choose “Continue without an account” and your data is kept under an anonymous guest account that only this iPhone can open. Save it later with Sign in with Apple or email to keep it if you change phones, or delete it. With an account, Settings → Delete account permanently removes your profile, answers, routine, shelf, scans, photos and chats. A subscription is cancelled separately in your Apple ID settings.
Questions about privacy and safety
No. Suppin is educational guidance, not medical advice. It doesn't diagnose or treat anything, doesn't set doses from lab values, and isn't a medical device. Talk to a doctor or pharmacist before starting, stopping or changing a supplement, especially if you're pregnant, take medication or have a health condition.
Only if you allow it. The “Suppin uses AI” screen lists what the assistant and label scans would receive before anything is sent. If you choose “Not now”, nothing goes to the AI service, the chat and photo scans stay off, and the rest of the app keeps working. You can change this in Settings → AI features.
Suppin collects usage analytics and crash reports, without your answers, photos or messages, to improve the app. Your device's advertising identifier is read only if you allow tracking when iOS asks, and only to measure our ads. Suppin shows no ads, doesn't sell your data, and never uses health information for advertising.
With our hosting providers: the main database is in the United Kingdom, with some processing in the European Union and the United States. Transfers use standard safeguards such as the European Commission's contractual clauses. The privacy policy at supin.me/privacy lists every provider and what each one does.
In the app: Settings → Delete account. It permanently deletes your profile, answers, routine, shelf, scans, photos and chat history; backups expire within about 30 days. If you're using Suppin as a guest, you can delete your guest data the same way. An active subscription must be cancelled separately in your Apple ID settings.
